At Riverside ER, we currently offer COVID-19 testing for patients who have symptoms and have certain risk factors.

Testing is done on symptomatic patients in conjunction with an emergency room visit. Total charges for an ER visit vary depending on the level of patient illness, intensity of medical needs, and the resources required to render care.

Riverside ER offers the following types of testing for COVID-19:

Rapid Antigen: Tests for active COVID-19 infection.The test results will be received within the same day..

PCR/ Molecular Covid-19 test: Tests for active COVID-19 infection. We work with outside laboratories to offer  molecular (PCR) testing options. The samples are collected by our staff during the emergency room visit and sent to the outside laboratory for processing. The outside laboratories set their own prices and may bill separately for these services. The results will be received within 3-7 business days.

If you are uninsured, Riverside ER will offer you a cash rate of $270. Final Out-of-pocket costs can vary depending on the emergency services provided in conjunction with the visit.
